What our teachers & clients say about working with us
Working with EP has been an amazing experience, the staff are friendly, reliable, caring, and supportive. Working with EP, I was able to experience different schools all over Auckland and observe diverse ways that schools operate. The team at EP are very professional and quick to find schools that work with your personality and strengths. I would highly recommend signing up with EP. They are great! I mean every word, your support so far this year has been incredible, and I look forward to working with you again in Term 3.
We started using Skodel this year [2022] to monitor our students' well-being. So far, we have found it user friendly and simple to navigate. It gives us an insight into how our students are feeling and highlights those that need us to check in with them or monitor closely. Our students are enjoying using Skodel and sharing what is on their mind in a non-threatening way.
I would strongly recommend EP for preschool work. Communication was excellent and I always felt as if I was treated as a professional and you had my back. I greatly appreciated the work at a variety of centres. It was super interesting to get an overview of ECE in Auckland.
We've run our first check in and have picked up a couple of things already in terms of challenges our students are dealing with and have been able to get support in quickly for them. We've found Skodel really quick and simple to use and the students have responded really well to it as well.
Skodel gives back instant data with no extra work needed from the teacher, except to analyse the interesting comments students have at that moment in time. As an administrator at our school for this product, I can say that teachers love the knowledge that can be gained in understanding and relating to their students more through Skodel analysis.
I think Skodel is great. Once you see what it can do then it's an easy decision to put it into our school. Skodel gives a very quick and very good overall picture of our student's wellbeing. We can get ahead of any issues before they disrupt learning. The kids love it and my board was really impressed with the data. In lockdown, it was extremely useful too.
At a time when wellbeing is an absolutely key component in schools and education, Skodel is well set up to give schools and educators insider knowledge on the frame of mind their students are arriving with. It's like starting a 100m race 10m ahead of everyone else!
I had an awesome experience with EP Education. Tina was very supportive and helped me land my first job as a teacher. Thanks so much!
Ahh what can one possibly say about the good folk at EP education? It's like trying to evaluate the Greek Gods of old. Would 5 stars be enough for Hercules? Could you describe Apollo as professional? Dionysus as responsive? These words and the star rating system feel inadequate when in juxtaposition with the service given by supreme beings! Which leads me back succinctly to the good folk at EP education. Their dedication was complete, their humour limitless, their humanity unwavering and my satisfaction overflowing. I can't thank them enough for helping me find my dream job. Bravo EP, bravo.
I would recommend this company to any teacher. They have always been friendly, willing to video call and give me time to decide on taking a job or not. They have also been very responsive on my mails which sped up the process considerably.
Very friendly, supportive and responsive staff. They were great at helping me secure a permanent teaching role as an overseas teacher. Even during the pandemic and times of uncertainty they were very informative and always sent updates on the situation. I would highly recommend their services.
We have used EP’s services for a few years and they really do so much of the background work that makes the process more efficient.
I was really impressed with both securing a permanent contract and the service I received. Both job and visa documentation were dealt with quickly & efficiently, despite the ever changing immigration rules. Receiving follow up calls too after I have started in my job also offered me piece of mind.
We are very appreciative of the support given to us by ep.education. At a time when teacher supply was a real concern for us, we have been able to secure the services of a teacher who will be a great addition to our team. We are very grateful for the professional support provided.
I've worked for EP Education for a few months, and the team has been great. Incredibly supportive, and they never sacrifice quality of the services they provide, whilst always looking after the employees. Through EP Education I have connected with some great organisations, and I often hear very positive feedback. Thank you EP Education for your support!
Amazing place to work! I've been able to work at many different centers with many different communities and it's been an awesome experience. Plus, the staff are all super helpful and friendly. Very grateful for this opportunity.
My experience [working with ep.education] is I could experience different centres and different age groups through relief teaching. I like ep.education because I can show chose my preferred working time and day. It’s really awesome! If my friends are interested with ECE relief teaching, I would recommend ep to them.
I have worked with EP in various capacity for the last 6 years and I continue to be impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of EP staff. Working with EP gives you great experience and flexibility while earning a good coin. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone in need of a permanent or casual role. You will be well cared for and your needs will be their priority.
Thank you for your time and effort relating to our recent recruitment process for our replacement principal. When our long term and amazing principal resigned at the end of term 3, the board were faced with a dual challenge, finding a replacement that fitted the board and community criteria for the role in a tight time frame. EP offered us the service that we needed, early engagement to firm up our application pack and managing the application process. EP have a structured approach and this means that the applicants are required to all provide information in a similar way, which made it easier to differentiate between them. Stuart provided guidance on shortlisting assessment and interview questions and strategies. Having an independent party to the process was immensely helpful. Stuart completed additional reference conversations on behalf of the board without bias and supported us through necessary board discussions. I would recommend EP to boards for recruitment processes.
I love the efficient communication EP has. Maddie from EP is always quick at responding to emails and has helped me a lot while navigating working under level 3 and traffic light system! Worked for other agency before, but will definitely recommend EP for the first choice.
Fantastic support during my visa application process. Annalise had great communication with my school and provided all the information we needed. She checked in regularly to see how the process was going and was quick to follow up on any question I had. A wonderful help 🙂
Really supportive staff, helped me get a job, get settled and renew my work visa in NZ. Very positive experience!
I had previously had many problems with immigration New Zealand due to the changes in requirements. Annalise was fantastic throughout the process and supported myself and my school by in filling in documents, giving advice and making the process a little easier.
EP have been great in giving me advice on how to obtain my Teacher Reg, and they've helped speed up the process of getting me "work ready". Thanks heaps guys.
I am grateful to EP education for helping me out in the best possible way. I am so glad that I am associated with them. The team is incredibly supportive and responsive . I feel like I am being supported like a family. Hats off to you guys for doing a great job!
Great people to work with, friendly team, Zaf is very helpful and quick to reply to your emails. Highly recommend working with them.
I was really excited and ready to explore my experience. I hadn’t worked in a centre before and now I finally found this opportunity to share my skills and also to learn some new things. What I like about ep is the good communication. The team is very helpful and friendly. I recommend ep to my friends.
I have been working as a relief teacher for EP education for over a year now. I've had an excellent experience. The team are supportive, efficient and friendly, especially Zaf and Mary.
EP took the time to understand our school, and the key requirements in the person we were seeking to fill our vacancy. They have done a great job.
Great communication and fantastic candidates.
EP worked closely with the school leadership to ensure that we managed to recruit a teacher who was the right fit for our school.
The team at EP have been our preferred agency when we require day relief.
EP are a very friendly team to deal with. Their relief teachers use their initiative and are a pleasure to have as part of our teaching team.
We love EP! An amazing team that are so helpful, and with really great relievers that fit into our team, care for the children and use their intuitive to make life easy!
EP genuinely care about who they work with - we highly recommend their services.
I love working with EP! EP has really helped us out with our teacher shortage. We have a couple of relief teachers who we really like having in the centre and it is so nice getting a text from [the team] letting me know they are available for work if needed. I would recommend EP to anyone who needs help in their centre!
I have found the team at EP to be very supportive and understanding. EP has been able to find me weekly relief work in the ECE, Primary and Intermediate sectors. My relief experience I feel has continued to develop my own practice as an educator, which has given me more focus and drive on the next steps to getting back into the classroom full time.
I would like to acknowledge the fantastic support afforded to me by the ep.education team. I am a teacher from Ireland who emailed several institutions detailing my situation and desire to continue being a teacher in New Zealand. ep.education stood out from the start as they were the only group to personally call me about my situation. From that point on, the team worked tirelessly to find me a position that suited me. They acted as a liaison between myself and the school, immigration officials and ministry officials. Now I am in my dream teaching job and I certainly owe that to ep.education and the gold standard in care they had for me and my complex situation.
Thanks for all your work Stu. I found you excellent to work with. A great job, for which we are very grateful.
Stu’s knowledge of the education scene allowed us the luxury of concentrating on selecting the best fit candidate rather than focusing on process detail. Would we use Education Personnel again? Absolutely.
I am glad that we used a recruitment company and Education Personnel was an excellent choice for us. Excellent communication all the way and the process was very thorough. We are very pleased with our choice.
We recently (2020) engaged the services of ep.education to help us find and appoint a new Principal for our rural school. We found them to be professional, organised, and helped guide us through the process. They have a sound understanding of employment requirements and what is required to make this process a success. We would have no issues recommending ep.education to other schools and would happily utilise their services again. We are very happy with the result we have achieved.
The EP Job Find Assistance programme was an essential part of my job finding process. I was given invaluable, realistic advice about my CV, cover letter, and interview process. The results of the support I received was clear: I got a job very soon after! I would highly recommend this programme to any graduate or teacher who is looking for a teaching job.
EP were one of the best to work with. They really helped me with my CV and cover letters. They were easy to deal with and communicate with. They were always helpful and I felt supported all the way. I'd highly recommend the Job Find Assistance Programme. It was brilliant.
My experience with EP has been nothing but positive. The team are extremely approachable and friendly. They helped me to create clear and achievable goals, providing support throughout, which made the job find process seem easy. I was provided with a range of resources and documentation which were all very helpful and user-friendly. Thanks EP!
I found the programme really helpful as I was a recent graduate who was having difficulty finding a job. The programme guides and supports you to find a job that best fits your personal circumstances in a step by step manner. Also, my consultant kindly gave me advice on not only job seeking, but also teaching in a classroom. I would definitely recommend this programme if you are a new teacher.
I was a former primary school teacher overseas and then I migrated to NZ. Looking for a teaching job, I found EP on Facebook and applied straight away for the Job Find Assistance Programme. My consultant effectively helped, guided and supported me with my CV and job search. I finally got a permanent ECE job in the heart of Auckland.
As a graduate teacher, my consultant from EP was extremely helpful in giving me advice on what potential employers look for in a CV and the different types of questions I can expect from an interview. She kept in contact and was very supportive throughout the job finding process. I would definitely recommend talking to someone from EP about finding a position as it will give you the tools you need to find the right position that works for you.
EP guided and supported me through my initial teacher registration and pay assessment, and then managed and boosted my progress as a relief teacher in the Wellington area. The knowledgeable EP consultants were at hand to assist me in designing cover letters and a CV that best reflected my strengths and expertise as a teacher. I received overwhelming support from the experienced EP staff from the initial job applications to the point of settling down in my new position, and with a promise that I can always count on them in future.
I am so grateful that EP was presented to us at our last face to face day of the teacher refresh programme. My interaction with my consultant has been superb. She took my ordinary CV and delved deeper into my historical teaching career bringing out my passion, strengths and skills and helping me to put them in writing. When completed she then added the icing on the cake by supplying a template for writing a job application covering letter. This was a tremendous help. My first CV didn't leave much of an impression... [but] my revised one made quite a different impression, resulting in an interview and a job offer almost on the spot!
The EP Job Find Assistance Programme was instrumental in securing my first job. They provided ongoing one-on-one support, which helped me optimise my CV, cover letters and overall presentation. The programme was a breeze, and I felt personally supported throughout what can be quite an intimidating process. Their knowledge and experience was highly valuable, and I would definitely recommend them to a friend.
The Job Find Assistance programme helped me secure my first teaching role in a very difficult job market. The feedback was absolutely invaluable, including CV structure and content, interview techniques, and really insightful specific market intelligence. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for solid and relevant advice, at any stage of their career.
The CV support meant that I felt I was putting my best foot forward when I applied for jobs. I asked for help on how to create a teaching CV, but my consultant also helped me to identify my unique experiences and strengths that I would bring to potential schools. At the end, I didn’t feel like I had been moulded to fit into a template. I managed to get a number of interviews which I believe was a result of my CV clearly demonstrating my skills, experience and passion for teaching and learning.
I am really glad I decided to take advantage of the CV support programme offered by ep.education. I believe it gave me the edge over other new graduate teachers in getting interviews and helped me find my first teaching job. As writing a teaching CV is so radically different from writing a normal CV, having feedback was invaluable to make sure I had a CV that both highlighted my strengths and stood out to busy principals. I fully recommend this service and have already recommended it to other graduate teachers I know.
[My CV support consultant] was absolutely amazing. She made the process so easy. After handing out one of my CVs I was shortlisted and got the job! She called me to congratulate me after which shows how much she is invested in her job. I would highly recommend [it] to anybody!! It is 100% worth the $$. I can't thank her enough.
I recommend CV support for every overseas teacher as it helps one to identify and eliminate countless errors on your CV while highlighting the key skills and experience.
I loved how my experiences were highlighted and I was encouraged to complete two CVs for my two areas of interests in teaching. [My consultant] was awesome and allowed for our one hour session to be parted for two 30 min sessions.
I know that I'm fully capable of writing my own CV, so it seems odd to pay for help, but this service has been invaluable. Your guidance helped me clarify my thinking and zoom in on the essence of me as a teacher.
EP provides short, practical courses to assist relievers in their classroom practice, which require limited resources but are purposeful, fun and of educational benefit. Great value for money.
Such a fun and enjoyable morning! It gave me lots of ideas to use in the classroom. The course leader was really experienced and had a realistic understanding of the challenges of a day in the classroom.
The Maths workshop run by Julie Roberts was wonderful. In two hours we learnt (and played!) many great games and activities for use in the classroom. All of the activities can be differentiated for different age groups and abilities and require minimal materials which made them extremely practical. I will definitely be attending more workshops like this one.
I found the simplicity of the activities and the integration of science, technology and maths particularly useful. Ben prompted and encouraged responses of rich vocabulary. His enthusiasm was very motivating considering science is not my strength! I also appreciated his commitment to tikanga Māori.
As always, Julie's passion for mathematics shone through and she motivated and inspired me to want to take it back and try it in the classroom.
Phillippa facilitated a meeting of minds. I enjoyed the informal setting as it allowed for small group and whole group discussions without fear of judgement. These discussions helped critique strategies and activities and improvements and variations were suggested for practical purposes. It was awesome!
Fantastic support during my visa application process. [My consultant] had great communication with my school and provided all the information we needed. She checked in regularly to see how the process was going and was quick to follow up on any question I had. A wonderful help.
In the time I have been with EP, the staff have always been friendly, professional and proactive. They have listened and accommodated the hours and days I wanted to work and what areas in Auckland I've wanted to work in. EP really value and look after their relievers.
EP is a professional company who helps teachers match their interest and availability for work. They have great cooperation with education services and they perform outstanding efficiency for communication with both education services and teachers. I quite enjoy working with them.
