Are you looking to hire overseas teachers? Find out how you can get two years of accreditation for the price of one!
In 2022 Immigration New Zealand changed the work visa process by introducing an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
Initial accreditation was due to last for 12 months before needing to be renewed. However, Immigration NZ has announced an Extension for employers accredited under the AEWV system.
"The initial accreditation periods for the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) will be automatically extended by 12 months if employers apply before 4 July 2023."
We wanted to give you a heads-up and let you know that if you are not an Accredited Employer with Immigration NZ and anticipate employing migrant workers in the next two years, now is the time to apply for AE status and get two years for the price of 1!
"Employers who apply before 4 July 2023 will now effectively receive a 24-month first accreditation."
Potential employees can see on the INZ website if an employer is accredited, so they may submit job applications with Accredited Employers who can support a work visa application.
